How many effects can HX One run at once?
One, in stereo. There is no chain to build — the entire processor goes to whichever effect you load, which is why its reverbs and pitch effects hold up against dedicated pedals.

What is FLUX mode on the HX One?
It turns the right-hand footswitch into a momentary controller: a parameter moves while your foot is down and springs back when you lift off. Press and hold that switch to toggle it — red is tap tempo, white is FLUX.
Can I power HX One from my pedalboard supply?
Yes. It needs 9 V at 500 mA, centre-negative — an ordinary draw. It is the only HX device that does not want three amps of its own.
Does HX One have amp models?
No. It is effects only, and only one at a time.
How do I change effect category on HX One?
Press and turn the EFFECT knob. Turning alone steps through one category; press-and-turn jumps between them.
How do I get to the presets on HX One?
Press the ON and TAP switches together. ON then scrolls up and TAP scrolls down.
Is there an HX Edit for the HX One?
No. USB carries firmware updates via Line 6 Central and nothing else — everything is edited on the pedal.
Can HX One do the four-cable method?
Yes. The right-hand input and output double as a loop return and send, so the pedal can wrap your amp's preamp.
Can HX One follow my rig's tempo?
Yes — it takes MIDI clock. If something else in your rig is the clock, the delays lock to it without you tapping.
