“Is that a bug or is my firmware old?” is a real question with a checkable answer. Several things this guide describes simply do not exist on older releases.
This guide is checked against CorOS 4.0.1, released 4 Mar 2026. From CorOS 4.0.0 the firmware and Cortex Control share a version number, so “are these two in step” is finally answerable at a glance.
