Does HX Effects have amp models?
No. It is the effects half of the HX platform, for players who already have an amp. It does have impulse responses, which is how you get a cab sound for a direct feed.

What do the footswitch colours mean on HX Effects?
The category of effect on that switch. Orange distortion, yellow dynamics and EQ, blue modulation, green delay, red reverb, purple pitch and filter. It is a real feature, not decoration.
How do I bypass everything on HX Effects?
Press MODE and TAP together. That is a global bypass and the fastest way to hand the engineer your dry amp.
How many snapshots does HX Effects have?
Four per preset.
Can HX Effects record over USB?
No. USB is for HX Edit, firmware updates and control messages only. There is no audio interface in this one.
Can HX Effects switch my amp's channels?
Yes. The two PEDAL / EXT AMP jacks double as amp control outputs, so a preset change can flip your amp's channel or its reverb.
Can I keep my favourite analogue pedal?
Yes — that is what the two loops are for. Put it in a loop and a preset or snapshot can switch it in and out for you.
Why did my footswitches stop toggling effects?
You are in Preset mode. Step on MODE.
