Controls and footswitches

Every control on the HX Effects, on a diagram you can click. Pick anything to see what it does — including the gestures nothing on the chassis tells you about.

FS1 – FS6

Six stomp switches in two rows of three, each with a scribble strip above it and a colour LED ring that tells you what kind of effect it holds.

Press, in Stomp mode: Toggles that switch's effect on and off.
Touch, without pressing: Selects that effect for editing.
Touch repeatedly: Cycles through multiple assigned items.
Touch and hold: Shows all of that block's parameters.
Touch and hold two switches: Swaps their assignments.

Worth knowingThe ring colours are not decoration. Orange is distortion, yellow dynamics and EQ, blue modulation, green delay, red reverb, purple pitch, synth, filter and wah. Learn six colours and you can work the board without reading it.
