Where sources disagree

Cross-checking every published source surfaces the places they don’t agree. Each of these is a spot where we could have picked a side and looked authoritative — showing the conflict is more useful, and lets you judge it yourself.

None of these is a criticism of Neural DSP — documentation for a device that has shipped four significant firmware releases in fifteen months will drift. They surface precisely because this guide reads every source rather than one: a single manual gives you one answer, and reading all of them shows you where that answer isn't stable. You should know that rather than take our pick on trust. If you can settle any of these definitively, they should be settled.

What we do about it

Captures are unambiguous: 3 seconds, everywhere. The conflict is on presets only, where Neural DSP's manual and their own presets guide give different figures. Hold until the destination indicators stop blinking rather than counting — the pedal confirms the save itself.

What we do about it

We document channels 1, 3 and 4 and the reamp send on output 3, and say nothing about channel 2 rather than guessing. The channel map is published as an image, and two independent reads of it disagreed — a human should eyeball the diagram.
