Songs and Showcase
The Stadium runs your backing tracks and changes your own sounds on cue. No other guitar modeller does this at all.
Showcase is Line 6’s live playback and automation engine, built into the Stadium. At its simplest it is a way to play along with a backing track using the transport buttons on the panel. At the other end, it is the thing running your band’s entire set — tracks, click, and every sound change, on cue and without anybody stepping on anything.
Tracks live on the microSD card, which ships fitted under the security panel on the rear. If Song View is empty, that card is the first place to look.
Audio tracks plus everything that should happen while they play.
A named point you can jump straight to — verse, chorus, the bit you always get wrong.
An event that fires at a set time: a preset change, a snapshot change, any Command Center message. A song can have two or hundreds.
A short recording attached to a preset, so you can hear what it should sound like before you play it.
A stopwatch and a metronome on the footswitches, for timing a set and counting one in.
Hold FS1 and FS7
Out of the box, Showcase is something you drive from the screen and the transport buttons. Holding FS1 and FS7 together cycles what the left-hand footswitch column does — bank, preset, snapshot, song, or marker up and down.
That single gesture is the difference between a playback feature and a performance one, and it is not printed anywhere on the chassis.
Holding MODE opens the full set of footswitch modes, including Transport — play, stop and skip on your feet rather than on the panel.
Build the flags at home
Automating a song is genuinely quick once you know the interface and genuinely slow the first time. Do the first one at a table, with the track playing, and not at soundcheck with a room waiting.
