Every Clone block is mono. Put your stereo effects after the clone, never before it.
What it does
Since firmware 1.3 the Stadium can capture a “clone” of any physical amplifier, preamp, amp-and-cab combination, or distortion pedal, at whatever settings it happens to be on. Once made, a clone behaves much like any other amp or distortion block.
No earlier Helix can do this at all. If the feature is missing, check your firmware first.
What it costs
A clone uses roughly as much processing as a full Agoura amp model, and you can have four per preset with no more than two on either path. Two clones plus effects will fill one path — but the other path is sitting there with its own chip.
The mono rule
Every Clone block is mono, and this is not adjustable. Any stereo block placed before a clone gets summed to mono at that point, silently, with nothing on screen to tell you.
Put stereo modulation, delay and reverb AFTER the clone. Anything in front of the amp wanted to be mono anyway.
