Does the Helix Stadium XL have a built-in expression pedal?
Yes, with a toe switch that toggles EXP 1 and EXP 2. The Stadium Floor has none at all, and this is the usual reason to choose the XL.
Can I plug two guitars into a Helix Stadium XL?
Yes. There are two instrument inputs, each with its own impedance, pad and noise gate — or use both for one stereo instrument.
Can the Stadium XL clone my amp?
Yes — PROXY cloning, the same as the Stadium Floor, from firmware 1.3. Four clones per preset, two per path, and every clone block is mono.
Why doesn't the volume knob change my sound?
It controls one output at a time — whichever button above it is lit. Press the one you are actually listening to.
How do I monitor the house mix through my in-ears?
Set FX Returns 3 and 4 to act as always-on Aux inputs and feed them from the house desk. They then appear in your headphone cue mix.
How do I play backing tracks on the Stadium XL?
Showcase is built in. Put song tracks on the microSD card and use the transport buttons; hold FS1 and FS7 to get song and marker navigation onto your footswitches.
What is Combo mode?
A footswitch layout where each row has its own mode — stomps on one row, presets on the other, say. Hold MODE to reach it. Most owners end up here and few find it on their own.
Does the Stadium XL use USB-C?
Yes. USB A on the rear is a host port for an Ethernet adapter — the computer goes in USB C.
What are Agoura amps?
Line 6's new modelling method, introduced with the Stadium family. They sit alongside the whole existing Helix amp library.
