Controls and footswitches

Every control on the Helix LT, on a diagram you can click. Pick anything to see what it does — including the gestures nothing on the chassis tells you about.

FS1 – FS12

Twelve capacitive switches in two rows of six. The middle eight are lettered A–D on the chassis, printed between the rows rather than beside each cap.

Press, in Stomp mode: Toggles the assigned block or blocks.
Press, in Preset mode: Loads a preset; press again to reload it.
Touch, without pressing: Selects that switch's block on screen without changing the sound.
Touch and hold two switches: Swaps all their assignments.

Worth knowingCapacitive, so a resting foot selects a block on screen. That is the feature working, not a fault.

Some of these are printed on the box. The rest are in the manual, or nowhere, and they are the difference between owning this device and being able to use it.

Hold FS1 + FS7

Swaps the left column between Preset and Snapshot up/down.
